Update Notes for Update 2.1 Dreamworld Engine
**These notes do not necessarily reflect the final version that will be deployed on Live**

ВЕДЕНИЕ БОЯ

  • Fixed a bug that caused Khitan spell-fatalities to not trigger properly in many situations. For some specific spell-fatalities the bug would cause them to not trigger at all.

ИГРОВЫЕ КЛАССЫ

Завоеватель

  • The effect of Bloodlust will only affect the next combo finisher, as intended.

Стражник

  • Added 'Riposte' to combos affected by the feat Master Pikeman and corrected the feat description.
  • Lowered the cooldown of Lightening Reflexes by 30 seconds, to 1 min and 30 seconds. Effect adjusted to 35% Evade chance. The guardian will now get a hate increase in addition to a damage increase when the effect ends.
  • Defiance will now have a 50% proc chance on hit when beneath 50% health, the heal effect is limited to once every 30 seconds.
  • Added 'Riposte' and 'Bloody Vengeance' to combos affected by the feat 'Relentless Assault'.
  • Replaced the Juggernaut feat Brutal Overreach with Brutal Destroyer: 'Brutal Destroyer augments the Guard Destroyer combo by increasing the critical chance of your next Overreach, Titanic Smash and Dulling Blow combos by X% for a short time afterwards.'
  • All Guard Destroyer combos are now 1-step (Upper Right) and also on a shared cooldown.
  • Increased the duration of Guard Destroyers 'Physical Ruin' to 20 seconds.
  • Increased the starter and finisher damage of Guard Destroyer III and Guard Destroyer IV.
  • Removed a damage proc from all ranks of Guard Destroyer.
  • Prowess will now also include Overreach III & V combo upgrades.
  • Readiness will now also reduce the reuse time of Overreach III & V, Shield Slam and Shield Strike.
  • All ranks of the Guard combo are now 1-step (Upper left).
  • Tweaked down the duration of the Guard IV combo animation (15% faster).
  • Replaced the animation for Guard V with Guard IV combo animations (25% faster).
  • Slightly tweaked down the duration of the Deliberate Reprisal (polearm) combo animation (5% faster).
  • Increased the retaliatory damage of Deliberate Reprisal (AA Counterstrike rank).
  • KNOWN ISSUE : Guard V is still two-step, but should be 1 step as all other guard ranks.

ПВП

  • Increased the XP rewarded for The Call of Jhebbal Sag.
  • Increased ticks rate (every 10 seconds instead of 12 seconds).

TESTLIVE ONLY
  • Equipped armor should not render as invisible anymore.
  • Guild gui Leave and Disband buttons should work properly.
  • Several issues related to the new engine should be cleared up for those experiencing them. Please continue to report issues you see, and remember to include your system spec info!

  • Herald of Xotli: The particle effect for Phoenix Cloak has been reworked; it is now a more subtle, less static effect.
  • Items: 'Blade's Gloves of the Hidden Tomb' will now have a chance to drop off the Royal Hatchling in Den of the Crowmen.

Страж

  • Increased the chance of inflicting retaliatory strikes with Guard combos from 25 to 40 %.

Некромант

  • When detonating Pestilential Blast with Chill, you will now get the proper fatality effects.

  • All Silences should now properly break on damage as intended.
  • Fixed a few CC effects that would not properly break on damage.

TESTLIVE ONLY
  • Several more improvements and bug fixes done regarding the new engine.
  • Demonologist : Fixed particle-effect for the AA demonologist spell Bindings of the Skylord.
  • Icons should no longer show the wrong visuals when moused over.
  • Objects in the distance should no longer show black spots around the edges.
  • Maps should no longer appear as gray or lined.

ОБЩЕЕ

  • Players will once again be able to receive the demon blood when they kill the Dread Abomination in Cavern of Malice.

ИГРОВЫЕ КЛАССЫ

Слуга сета

  • Expanded Glorification Set and Expanded Damnation of Set should no longer cause the two spells to reset cooldown on each other.

Шаман-медведь

  • Expanded Rune of Resistance and Expanded Rune of Resilience should no longer cause the two spells to reset cooldown on each other.

ПВП

  • The conquest gui should now properly reset after doing a conquest minigame.
  • You will now always be flagged as a Coward when not accepting a pvp minigame popup.
  • Using /camp in a minigame will now mark you as a coward, just as leaving the minigame does.
  • The sound played when the join minigame window appears should be heard at all times now.

Annihilate Opposing Team

  • The minigame instructions now show when you enter the playfield, rather than when the minigame starts.

  • Spellweaving pedestals should now be visible again.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the assassin miasmas to have an incorrect cooldown.
  • Fixed an issue with stagger immunity ending up on the wrong target when the target got hit by a sneak attack.

  • Replaced the Tempest feat Stand Off with the new feat Stalwart: 'Increases the guardian's Hit and Critical Damage Ratings.'
  • Storm Blade rank 4/5 will now give a 20% power increase as intended.

The Call of Jhebbal Sag

  • Reduced the chance of getting Jhebbal's curses.
  • The curse of flame now has a shorter duration and thus does less damage in total.
  • The Blessings of an Ancient god quest now only requires a single blessing to complete. However the amount of tokens have also been reduced to one.

TESTLIVE
  • You will no longer crash when performing a dismemberment fatality on a female character.
  • Corrected the strange camera behavior while riding on a mount.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause you to crash when entering some bodies of water.
  • Fixed a bug where trading with a player who was zoning in would make item icons in the trade window not appear for the player who was zoning.

  • Resolved an issue where NPCs would sometimes appear below and inside your guild city.

  • You no longer get the Exhausted debuff when you run out of stamina. This adjustment is subject to change depending on testing and feedback.

Темный паладин

  • Any Rank of "A Soul for Our Feast" can now overwrite Rank V of this buff, as intended.

Следопыт

  • Clarified the tooltip description for Hunting Hawk.

ЕЗДОВЫЕ ЖИВОТНЫЕ

  • All classes can now use Quick Dismount while moving on a mount (not siege mounts).
  • Reduced the cooldown of Quick Dismount to 30 seconds for rogue classes, and 2 minutes and 30 seconds for non-rogue classes.

РЕЙДЫ

  • Thoth-Amon's Stronghold: Rogues can now also use upgraded Khitai/AA ranks of combos in the tier 3 crafting encounter.

  • Tooltips for AA feat window now display correctly again.
  • You can now start the client in fullscreen mode by setting it in the patcher options.
  • The patcher has a slightly new and improved look!
  • Anti alias will now set the correct default value when pressing the default button.

  • Various improvements to visual issues with the new engine that some users were experiencing.

  • The ground is missing some textures in Thunder River. Don't be scared!

TESTLIVE

  • Resetting Video Options to default will no longer result in assertion failure.
  • Client will no longer deadlock after the intro video.
  • FXAA settings are now saved correctly and restored in between client starts.
  • Screen Space Ambient Occlusion is no be longer disabled after alt+tabbing.
  • The missing water in Thunder River is no longer missing.
  • Fixed some transparency issues where part of the character would be rendered completely invisible.
  • Fixed an issue where mobs and textures would sometime disappear.
  • Blond Female hair will no longer be rendered in front of particles.

Guild City

  • The Tier 3 Barrack is no longer missing some textures.

Guild Event

  • The round will now end correctly when all players (other then the Ymir and the spectators) are frozen during Ymir's Hunt.

  • The ground in Thunder River is back to normal again.

  • When learning social abilities or paths you will no longer be told you learned a new pet.
  • The 3rd rank of Quick Steps (AA feat) will now correctly cost Prowess points for Necromancers.

  • Removed the level restriction on the "New Player Help" chat channel, allowing high level players to participate and help out the new ones.

  • Ground textures will no longer become corrupted after spending time playing while on a Nvidia DX10 client.
  • Fixed an issue where the size of Oldlogs and AgeofConan.log could increase abnormally.
  • Fixed an issue where 'Low quality view distance' and 'NPC high quality view distance' had lower ranges when High Overall Quality was selected.
  • Fixed an issue where 'Enable grass' did not revert to 'Disabled' when Shader Model Version 2.0 was selected.
  • 'Underwater Caustics' and 'Enable Caustics Only while Submerged' Video Options have now been removed from the DX9 client (they are DX10 only options).
  • The missing torches in Old Tarantia are back.
  • Character's hair now have the right transparency when using the hide ability.
  • The lava behind Leviathus no longer flicker when moving back and forward.

ПВП

  • Fixed a bug preventing the nametags of low level players turning red when they attack a high level player. Low level players' nametags no longer turn gray in the middle of a fight they started.

Мини-игры

  • Fixed the UV mapping of the Blue Flag in Capture The Skull.
  • When joining a minigame, players will now end up on the team that has the fewest characters of his class.
  • Players will no longer receive cowards shame if they decline a minigame pop up. Additionally, a player that crashes out of a minigame will be able to clear cowards shame and rejoin that same minigame in progress.

  • Resolved an issue where timed training of AA feats could be started on feats you already have.
  • Resolved an issue that broke the reduction in cost for AA feats which were trained over time.
  • You now get tooltip for AA feats in timetraining mode.
  • Fixed an issue that made custom waypoints appear at the bottom left corner of the map instead of the correct location.
  • Fixed an issue where resource nodes were shown as in use constantly.
  • Fixed a cause for some of the server stalls.
  • Fixed an issue where putting points in an AA being trained over time would crash the client.
  • Fixed more Client Asserts and Crashes.

  • Sentinels will now despawn correctly after killing a player during the Harbringer of Jang encounter.
  • Fixed an issue where Necromancer pets would cause high latency during raids that had heavy AoE content.

  • Changing resolution on DX10 crashes the client.
  • Consuming an item will consume all items from its stack.

TESTLIVE

  • Changing the resolution in DX10 should no longer crash the client.
  • Fixed an issue where changing the overall quality multiple times in DX10 would crash the client.
  • Fixed an issue where consuming an item would consume all items from the same stack.

Refuge of the Apostate

  • New loading screen for Refuge of the Apostate.
  • The Fire and Ice traps effects are now in sync with the particle effects.
  • Fixed an issue where the gate opened after defeating the first boss would be closed again after exiting and reentering the instance.
  • The Reanimated Servants next to the Refuge Corpse-Waker can now be pulled in groups of 2.
  • The music playing while loading into the dungeon was changed.
  • The combat music was changed to Kara Korum's combat music.
